Lindsay Stankowiak DVM
Owner | Veterinarian
Born and raised in Michigan, Dr. Stankowiak attended Michigan State University, where she earned her B.S. in Animal Science in 2016 and graduated from the MSU College of Veterinary Medicine with honors in 2020.
Upon completion of her DVM degree, Dr. Stankowiak chose to embark upon a new adventure in the Pacific Northwest. Being attracted to both the outdoors and city life, the Seattle metro area was a perfect fit. She spent the first three years of her career practicing emergency medicine at a high volume small animal practice, where her love for the ER continued to grow.
Dr. Stankowiak enjoys the variety and challenges that emergency cases present. Above all, she values continuous learning and collaboration with other team members to provide the best patient care. Though not always easy, she finds great satisfaction in supporting pets and their families during a difficult time.
In a general practice setting, Dr. Stankowiak values the importance of involving pet owners in their patient's health care. By educating and empowering pet parents, she is able to strengthen the human-animal bond and help patients live healthy lives.
Outside of her career, Dr. Stankowiak enjoys riding and showing her horse, Echo. She also finds happiness doing yoga, skiing, cheering for Seattle sports teams, and adventuring with her husband and their two dogs, Lakota and Miller.
Dr. Stankowiak is thankful for the opportunity to make meaningful connections with members of the veterinary profession while serving the people and pets of Washington.
